Nel de Man, a veteran master Baby Doll Sculptor AND Reborning Artist, has been creating baby doll molds for 25 years. Originally, Nel made her first dolls out of plaster and later used porcelain to make replicas of antique dolls. Currently, Nel sculpts her dolls from Modelene and Cernit, a synthetic polymer clay. Her dolls have been manufactured in limited edition releases by doll companies Zapf, Sigikid & Schildkroth.If you would like to actually meet with this renowned reborn doll sculptor and reborning artist, Nel de Man will be at The Belgium Doll Show on April 6, 2009 which is taking place in the town of Herentals, Belium. Nel has also appeared at Doll Shows in Germany & The Netherlands in 2008.
